The kids convertible shawl is a shawl that converts to a poncho when zipped. This design is a result of my daughter’s request for “a shawl with a zipper”!

Sizes: toddler (child)

Finished measurements: center neck to point 20.5 in/52 cm (30.5 in/77.5 cm)

Skills required: kfb, pfb, sewing on a zipper

Gauge: 5.5 stitches per inch (2.5cm) in stockinette stitch

Materials:

● Yarn: 3 skeins dk weight; pink, red, white

● Needles: US 8 24-in circular needle

● Notions: separating zipper, ribbon, needle and thread
